Raketu unveiled "Raketu Lite," the "light" version of the company's VoIP softphone. The application is ideal for customers seeking Raketu's VoIP calling features, including Global IM/SMS and email capabilities. Raketu Lite comes with a "Slim" interface and integrates Internet protocol television (IPTV) streamed video and video on demand (VOD) entertainment content.

Raketu introduced mobile version of its VoIP service aimed at mobile business users. This Web application is optimized for the BlackBerry. With this version of the mobile client, the users of the BlackBerry Curve, BlackBerry 8800 Series and BlackBerry Pearl can make international calls either at Raketu's ultra-low cost VoIP calling rates or totally free. The Raketu BlackBerry application also allows the users to send email and SMS text messages globally.

Raketu also announced a mobile version of its software for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. This version also allows users to make international calls totally free or at Raketu's ultra-low cost VoIP calling rates, as well as to send email and text messages.
